The Desire is moving into the Chelsea Old Town Hall this year with its spring exhibition. A very traditional place for the arts and crafts – for many years it has been the site of the Chelsea Crafts Fair, which later became the ORIGIN, which unfortunately is already history again. Off to New York – for the first time! Every fall, the Museum of Arts and Design in New York holds a sales exhibition of contemporary jewelry designers, and has invited me to this year’s edition. What a great surprise – my work has just been nominated for the German Design Award 2013. The jury felt confident about my “kinetic tablepiece” which will be shown during Treasure at Somerset House along with the kinetic ring collection. The German Design Award is the German Design Council’s international premium prize.

I am very happy and curious about the opening, which I am going to London for on Thursday and which will plunge me into the Preview crowd.
