A new chapter for me: With Sieraad Amsterdam, I will once again pitch my tents in the neighboring country for the first time in ages and present my work at the 20th anniversary edition of the event in the great location of a former gasometer. SIERAAD is a very special fair where artists from all over the world sell their jewelry directly and personally to stores, galleries and consumers. The SIERAAD Art Fair presents unique, personally designed and crafted jewelry. […]
In spring, it’s back to the monastery – the schmuckWERK invites jewelry enthusiasts to a small but very fine event. The schmuckWERK in the venerable, idyllically situated Eberbach Monastery is a must-attend event for everyone who loves extravagant and design-oriented craftsmanship. Whether simple or flashy, minimalist or opulent, noble or eccentric, the range of exhibitors carefully selected by the organizer shows at a glance what the creative jewelry scene of the present has to offer. And that is quite a […]
At last year’s summer edition of the IHM I was forced by Corona to cancel at short notice – all the more I am now looking forward to Munich. In recent years, I have created so many new things that now finally want to be shown in Munich. The special hall B1 – Handwerk & Design is worth the trip alone. Discover what fashion designers, jewelry designers, wood and metal craftsmen, artists and creative people are presenting that is new! […]
With the FineArts I visit the beautiful monastery this year already for the second time. The classic, which plays almost all the rooms of the monastery and may welcome many guests as regulars and customers. Not only gourmets and wine lovers are drawn to the Rheingau, but also for art connoisseurs and people who love the extraordinary, this region is increasingly becoming the first address. For the 10th time, Eberbach Monastery is getting ready for art gourmets and will be […]
For Corona’s sake, the IHM is taking place in summer for the first time this year. So in the evenings we expect sitting in the beer gardens instead of freezing in snow – that’s fine with me. The main thing is that after such a long break, this world meeting of contemporary jewellery design can finally take place and attract all fans, creatives, colleagues and collectors starving for new impressions to find their way again to Munich. Handwerk & Design […]
It will be an exciting project, my return to Desire Chelsea this year. It’s the first post-Brexit show in London for me, so of course it will involve a huge amount of work. The paperwork with customs, taxes and payment processing is a real headache, but hopefully still worth the effort. But afterwards we will take stock of whether this will be a one-off attempt or a permanent part of my event tour again. I am very pleased to have […]
In December 2021, the Federal Association of Arts and Crafts invited entries for the first time to a nationwide competition to put together a collection of German arts and crafts. Around 80 applications with approx. 250 exhibits from all areas of work were sent in. A jury selected 24 objects from all the entries. The exhibits come from the fields of jewellery and utensils, ceramics, wood, textiles, glass, leather and metal. They form the first German Crafts Collection, which will […]

The artist group düsselGOLD has once again engaged with Goethe and has chosen the following topic for this year: Such a theater! In my version, the result is a very elaborate piece, which transfers lines from Goethe’s Faust to the modern world of social media madness. Stop by and be surprised – 17 jewelry designers from Düsseldorf present their work.
With this year’s exhibition theme “Ars et Ingenium” – based on the Leonardo da Vinci anniversary – the temptation was just too big for me. For this year I have exposed the upcoming exhibition in Kloster Eberbach to be able to make my way to the beautiful city of Florence. The Biennale Florence is already the twelfth of its kind and will take place from 18.-27. October in the exhibition halls of Fortezza da Basso.
