It is hard to imagine a worse situation for an artist than when, in a matter of seconds, the entire body of work created over many years vanishes into thin air, leaving you with virtually nothing. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened to me recently.
If you happen to see one of my pieces being offered for sale anywhere on the art market, please let me know. There’s little hope, but perhaps the thieves aren’t aware of how unique these pieces are. You can find images of all the missing pieces in the gallery below.
But that makes the overwhelming support and sympathy shown through the post on the relevant social media channels feel all the better. People also kept asking how they could help.
That’s why I’ve set up a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe. Any help – whether through donations or by sharing the post – will help me get a little bit further out of this difficult situation.
